Civic Star - Adelaide Convention Centre

Convention centres are rarely un-conventional. Adelaide's newly expanded Centre, overlooking the River Torrens, is one of the rule-breakers and game-changes. Squeezed on to a tight, problematic, site, the design negotiated weighty engineering issues. The result might have been ponderous in other hands, but this Woods Bagot design creates a lightweight structure and heavyweight contender.
