COVID-19 Update: Viridian Glass Operations

We continue to monitor the developing situation and restrictions across Victoria, New South Wales, and South Australia.

There are some disruptions to our site operations at this time due to escalating restrictions in different states, please read this important update.

New South Wales and ACT

The Ingleburn site remains safely operational on a reduced capacity, and deliveries are continuing to all areas in line with the site’s COVID Safe plan.

The site is currently on a reduced capacity due to some of our employees being unable to attend work due to the public health order in their area of residence.

Our Riverina (Albury), Canberra (Hume), Unanderra (Wollongong) and Cameron Park (Newcastle) sites remain safely operational with COVID safe precautions in place.

South Australia

As of 6pm, Tuesday 20th July the whole of South Australia went into Level 5 lockdown for a period of 7 days. This lockdown includes construction, schools, and non-essential businesses.

The Woodville site in South Australia is not classed as an essential business, therefore the entire site is shut down for the lockdown period.

As soon as this changes we will update our affected customers in this area.


Our Viridian Glass Clayton and Morwell sites in Victoria are still safely operating and delivering during this time in line with the site COVID Safe plans. This is in line with restriction levels in place currently in Victoria.

Safety is our priority

The safety of our people, customers and the wider community is our priority as different parts of Australia battle these outbreaks.

COVID Safe Plans are in place across all Viridian Glass sites across Australia. If you need to visit any of our Viridian Glass sites ensure local restrictions and precautions are being adhered to, and COVID safe practices are being followed. This includes the wearing of face masks, contact tracing check ins and avoiding a site if you are unwell or awaiting the results of a COVID test.
