  • Air Gap in IGUs – The space between panes in insulated glass units (IGUs) can be optimised to reduce certain frequencies. Standard IGUs with an air gap of 12 mm or less offer limited noise reduction. Wider air gaps are required for effective noise reduction.
  • Frame and Sealing Systems – Even high performing glass requires compatible framing and sealing to prevent sound leaks.
