COVID-19 Update: Stage 4 Restrictions in Metropolitan Melbourne

This is an important update in relation to recent announcements made by the Victorian Government regarding the movement to Stage 4 restrictions for Metropolitan Melbourne businesses.

Viridian’s glass processing and logistics operations in Clayton South will continue to operate with stringent hygiene and safety processes in place to comply with our COVID safe plan.

There is still a requirement for glass supply into commercial and residential construction projects across Metropolitan Melbourne (in a reduced capacity), as well as into regional Victoria and interstate. In order to service these industries and the trade with glass products, we will continue to operate.

The health and safety of our people and customers continues to be our highest priority. We realise these restrictions have wider ramifications for the glazing, window fabrication and construction industries in Metropolitan Melbourne, during this period we will work with affected customers to ensure glass can get where it needs to go safely and in accordance to COVID safe factory rules and site staff limits. For Victorian Customers directly affected please contact your local Account Manager to discuss current or future orders which may be impacted.

This continues to be an evolving situation, and we will let you know if production or capacity out of the Clayton South site will change as a result of these restrictions.
