The Block 2020 - Explore House 4

This 1910s heritage home was the oldest on The Block, after a shaky start once Luke and Jasmin got into their groove they really grasped this home style and was able to successfully weave in the period features, whilst creating the modern coastal feel they dreamt of into the new parts of the home.

Here are our favourite parts!

Window Seat

The master bedroom is located at the front of the house in the old area of the home - and Luke and Jasmin transformed this space into a masterpiece, a sanctuary the homeowner is definitely going to enjoy!

Our favourite part of this room is the installation of a window seat.  All those timber windows have been restored and contain LightBridge next™ double glazing, which will turn down the outside noise with its added acoustic benefit. Facing busy New Street in Brighton, this is going to be needed!

Upstairs

The upstairs area containing a small home office, second family room and bedrooms was beautifully styled with that modern coastal feel. With window elements which created more opportunities for natural light to access these spaces, this is truly a comfortable and modern family space.

Kitchen and Dining

All the homes have these large connecting spaces where the living, dining and connection to the backyard all lives. House 4's space is another example of how thoughtful design create expansive living areas suitable for occasions from the family dinner, to an extended family gathering.

Viridian LightBridge next™ double glazing was used in the windows and doors.
