The 2011 Glass Guide
The Architectural Glass Guide is Viridian’s key reference document for industry professionals and one of the most referenced tools for industry professionals using or designing with glass. In 2010, the guide detailed hundreds of combinations of glass types, categorized by their primary application, and the 2011 update expands upon last year's comprehensive edition.
Using the Guide
Many of the key decisions that need to be considered in the selection of glass in facades, interiors and glazing systems are listed in the guide. In contemporary projects, solar and thermal performance are generally a high priority in glazing decisions, and the guide clearly outlines product solutions to meet these needs. In addition, the guide explains other product attributes including appearance, security, fire protection, decoration, privacy, design, noise control, safety and even self-cleaning glass options.

The 128-page digital version of the 2011 Viridian Glass Guide is available for download from the Viridian New World Glass website on the specifier page. The PDF file is 15Mb in size, so please allow some time for the download.
