Vision Awards

The Vision Awards is a program developed by glass manufacturer Viridian™ to celebrate and promote innovative uses of glass for commercial and residential applications. As we face a new world of climate change, with a greater emphasis on environmental stewardship, the Vision Awards continue to place the spotlight on energy efficiency as a key consideration of entrants’ submissions. However, following the outstanding success of the 2009 Vision Awards, and to recognise the role that glass plays in transforming the internal environment of both commercial and residential buildings, Viridian have extended the number of categories from two to four to include the creative use of glass in interior applications. 

Award Categories:
Energy Efficiency & Glass Innovation – Commercial Design $5,000
Energy Efficiency & Glass Innovation – Residential Design $5,000
Creative use of glass in interior applications - Commercial Design $2,500
Creative use of glass in interior applications - Residential Design $2,500

$15,000 total prize money

Entry submissions accepted until 31 March 2010, for projects
completed between 1 January 2009 and 31 December 2009.

Awards presented on 23 April 2010 at Sydney Convention
and Exhibition Centre.
