Viridian owns and operates a world class Automotive Laminating, Toughening and Glazing Systems facilities at Geelong and Laverton Victoria servicing Automotive Original Equipment Manufacturers and After Glass Replacement markets.
Servicing the automotive market since 1938, the facilities are state of the art with a $50 million dollar investment in automotive and systems processing equipment in 2000. The investment ensures that products are produced at the highest level of quality and efficiency.
Viridian has a Toughened and Laminated Glass facility at Geelong, Victoria and Glass Systems Plant at Laverton, Victoria.
Automotive has continuously supplied OEM and aftermarket since 1938. Local customers have included Toyota, GM Holden, Ford, Mitsubishi, Chrysler, Australian Motor Industries and Nissan. Exports customers have included Toyota - Japan, Mercedes Benz - Germany, Suzuki – Japan and SEAT – Spain.
Glass Processing Facilities
Glass processing facilities include press bending / gravity sag toughening furnaces and a gas fired Lehr bending furnace to manufacture superior quality toughened back windows and laminated windscreens. Value added facilities include PU injection moulding presses, direct extrusion moulding and robotic assembly systems.

Technical Assistance Agreement
Viridian has technical assistance agreement (TAA) with NSG/Pilkington which provides co-operative liaison with one of the worlds biggest Automotive Glass companies.
One of the benefits of this TAA is the following services to ensure short development leadtimes and on time new model introduction.
